    PRIVATE EVENT OPTIONS:

    Try the Wheel or Hand-Building Project Party
    A fun, beginner-friendly session where your group can try throwing on the wheel or create a custom hand-built ceramic piece.

    Base Price: $550 for up to 6 participants

    Session Length: 2 hours

    Add Guests: $60 per additional person (up to 6 more for Hand-Building & up to 4 more for Wheel Throwing; max group size: 12)

    Make your event even more special with these extras:

    Extra Hour of Studio Time: $150
    Add an extra hour for cake, drinks (BYOB), decorating your pottery, or just hanging out with your group in the studio.

    Charcuterie Boxes & Champagne Packages
    In partnership with Storyboard Charcuterie, we offer curated snacks and drinks delivered right to the studio.

    Coffee & Pastry Bar Packages In partnership with Retrograde Coffee, we offer curated pastry’s and coffee drinks delivered right to the studio.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    Your instructor will guide you through the project step-by-step—no experience necessary.

    All tools, materials, and firing of up to two pieces per person are included.

    Pieces will be glazed and fired after your event and ready for pickup in about 4 weeks. Shipping available for out-of-town guests ($15 flat rate)

    We’ll contact the event organizer when items are ready. Please plan to collect all work within 30 days of notification.

  • Yes! We offer monthly memberships with 24/7 studio access, firing allowances, storage, and member perks. Reach out to learn more or schedule a tour.

  • Absolutely!
    We encourage prospective members to visit the studio before joining. Just fill out the membership form and select the option to schedule a visit. You’re also welcome to stop by during our open business hours—we’d love to show you around and answer any questions.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time with 30-day written notice prior to your next billing date by emailing: membership@slipceramicsnashville.com.

    Please note: Membership fees are non-refundable.

  • To maintain the integrity of our recycled clay and ensure consistent firing results, outside clay is not permitted, and all non-studio glazes must be pre-approved by the Slip Ceramics. This helps us protect our kilns, maintain glaze compatibility, and ensure the best results for everyone.

  • We offer a selection of Laguna clay bodies as well as studio-reclaimed clay for use in our classes and studio sessions.

    You’ll have access to our in-house glaze collection, including community favorites and a curated selection of commercial glazes.

  • Absolutely. We host private classes, team-building events, birthdays, and more. Just reach out to schedule here and customize your experience.

  • Nope! Our classes are beginner-friendly and designed to guide you through the process, step-by-step. Whether it’s your first time with clay or you’ve dabbled before, you’re in the right place.

  • All tools, clay, instruction, glazes, and firing for two finished pieces are included. You can keep additional pieces for $10 each.

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and closed-toe shoes are a must. Aprons are available, but clay has a way of finding its way around them.

  • Your finished pieces will be ready approximately 4 weeks after your class. We’ll notify you when they’re ready, and we can ship pieces if you're outside the Nashville area.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or one-time reschedule. With 24–48 hours’ notice, you’ll receive a class credit. Cancellations under 24 hours are not eligible for refund or rescheduling, but you may send someone in your place. No-shows are charged in full.
